This popular steakhouse hosts live music on Monday nights, and offers a two-for-one steak special with it.


Gibson’s permits you to order any two burgers off their menu on Monday for the price of one. You will be charged for the most expensive burger out of two burgers that are ordered and this special excludes sliders. This special is strictly for sit downs only as neither takeaways nor doggy bags are allowed.

Cattle Barron Hermanus

Every Monday at Cattle Baron in Hermanus, get a beef or chicken burger with chips and a sauce of your choice for only R39.95. This special is valid throughout winter.


Buy a single original spur beef, chicken, rib, soya or Texan-fried chicken burger and get another one free. Your burger is served with your classic spur-style crispy onion rings and chips or baked potato or Spur-style rice. This special is available all day: and only for burgers on the Spur adult main menu and excludes the senior’s and kid’s menu.

This is sit-down only and is not available as a takeaway.

Engruna Eatery

Dive into the two for one classic burger special at Engruna Eatery, you can enjoy this special on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday night.

Café Chameleon

Lunch deal

Café Chameleon offers pizza lunch deal on Monday and Saturday nights that gets you a medium pizza with three toppings of your choice for only R59.

This menu includes options such as: burger and chips, bangers and mash, pork chops, chicken schnitzel and range of salads.

This special is available from noon until 18:00 every day of the year.


Enjoy a 500g rump, served with oregano chips or grilled vegetables on Mondays, from 17:00 onwards, for only R120.

Barristers Grill

Order a steak at this southern suburbs grill and get your second main course for free. This cost will vary between R130 to R300.

Cape Town Fish Market

Cape Town Fish market in the Waterfront is offering a 50% discount on sushi; hake and chips; or burger and chips, all day on Mondays.

Café Chameleon

Café Chameleon offers a pizza dinner deal on Monday and Saturday nights which entitles you to a large pizza with three toppings of your choice for only R75.


Delve into a platter for two, consisting of fish of the day, calamari, mussels and prawns, served with chips, savoury rice and veggies for only R99.


Get two for one burgers at Dros, dig into two deboned rib burgers, served with chips and two complimentary 340ml Castle Lite/Castle Lite lime for only R59.95.

Rockin’ Ribs special

Tuck into Spur’s “Rockin’ Ribs” special every Wednesday and get 400g Spur ribs for R89.90.You can add a top-up for R24.90 each: 125g calamari, four Buffalo wings or a quarter chicken.


Buy Gibson’s sticky barbecue export quality, beef (750g), lamb (600g) or pork (600g) ribs and get any burger for free. This special excludes the Rolls Royce burgers and is strictly for sit downs only, no doggy bags will allowed.

Slug and Lettuce, Kloof Street

Every Wednesday, Slug & Lettuce Kloof Street offers a two for one burger special, which applies to any burger on their extensive menu.

Available for lunch and dinner, each burger comes with a side order of fries, sweet potato fries or a side salad.

Slug and Lettuce have a pasta special for R50 on Wednesday.

From 17:00 every Wednesday, get two lamb burgers for R90.

Eat as much sushi as you like at Cape Town Fish Market’s sushi buffet for R150; this buffet is available from 18:00 until 22:00. There is a R10 wastage fee, which applies per piece of sushi left by the customer. Neither sharing nor takeaways are allowed.

The sushi buffet selection is only from the buffet stand, not from the sushi conveyor belt.

Mezbaan Indian Restaurant at the Hilton
